Where is my data stored? Is it safe?
All check-in data is stored locally on your device (SwiftData) and (if enabled) your private iCloud space. The developer does not collect, upload, or analyze any data. See Privacy Policy.
How do I restore data on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID and enable HabitDesign sync at Settings → Apple ID → iCloud (active in V1.2+; for V1.0/V1.1 use PDF export as backup).
How do I delete all my data?
1. Uninstall the app — clears local SwiftData
2. (If iCloud sync was enabled) Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → HabitDesign → Disable and Delete

🔔 Notifications & Reminders
Reminders aren't firing on time?
• Check Settings → Notifications → HabitDesign, ensure permissions are allowed
• Verify the reminder list in Settings → Notification Settings inside the app
• Focus modes (Do Not Disturb, Sleep) may silence notifications
• Reminders use a rolling 14-day schedule — typically not lost

Timer completion notification didn't sound?
If app is in foreground — full-screen alert + ring + vibration
If app is in background / on lock screen — banner notification + Live Activity completion state

📱 Dynamic Island / Widget / Apple Watch
Dynamic Island / Widget not showing?
• Dynamic Island: only iPhone 14 Pro / 15 Pro / 16 Pro / 17 Pro models support it. Appears automatically when a focus timer starts

Apple Watch sync issues?
• Ensure iPhone and Watch are paired and HabitDesign is installed on Watch
• Open the iPhone app once to trigger sync

📊 Check-In & Stats
Forgot to check in — can I backfill?
Yes. Tap the calendar icon at the top-right of the list → Backfill mode → pick a historical date → Enter Backfill. Free tier: last 7 days. Pro: unlimited.
How do I switch to manual sort?
List page top-right filter icon → Sort → choose Manual to enter sort mode. Each row gets a ≡ drag handle on the left. Long-press and drag to reorder. Tap Done to exit.
Why are flame icons in different colors?
Streak length maps to color tiers:
1-2 days: light orange · 3-6 days: orange · 7-29 days: red-orange
30-99 days: deep red · 100-364 days: purple · 365+ days: gold 👑

How do I export my data?
Stats page top-right share button → generates a beautiful PDF report (cover, stats, matrix, heatmap, rankings) → share to any app. Pro feature.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Settings → your name → Subscriptions → HabitDesign → Cancel Subscription. After cancellation, Pro features remain active until the current billing period ends. Pro-created data is not deleted.
How do I request a refund?
Submit via Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com → select HabitDesign subscription → request refund. The developer cannot issue refunds directly.
How do I restore purchases on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID → open the app → tap "Restore" at the top of Settings or the Paywall → purchase records will sync automatically.
Will Pro-created data disappear after cancellation?
No. Existing multi-target counts, focus timer settings, custom colors, etc. are kept and continue to work. You just can't create new Pro configurations (e.g., a 6th habit).
