Welcome to HabitDesign (the "App"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the App.
1. Service Description
HabitDesign is an iOS habit-tracking application providing:
- Habit creation, management, and check-in tracking
- Statistical analysis and visualization
- Home screen widgets, Dynamic Island, and Apple Watch integration
- Multi-device sync via iCloud
- PDF report export
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
- Users under 18 should use the App under guardian supervision
- You must have a valid Apple ID
3. Ownership of Your Data
All data you input or create is owned by you.
- We do not claim any ownership over your personal data
- You may export or delete your data at any time via in-app features or by uninstalling
- Your iCloud data is held jointly by you and Apple; the developer has no access
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
- Attempt unauthorized access to the App's source code or data structures
- Use the App to store or distribute illegal, violent, sexual, or hateful content (even locally)
5. Intellectual Property
- The App's icon, UI design, source code, and documentation are owned by the developer
- "HabitDesign" is a brand identifier of this application
- No reproduction, modification, or redistribution is allowed without written permission
6. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
The App offers a Pro subscription and lifetime unlock as optional upgrades. All payments are processed by Apple's App Store.
6.1 Plans & Pricing
- Monthly subscription: $1.99 / month (auto-renewing)
- Annual subscription: $9.99 / year (auto-renewing), with 1-week free trial for new subscribers
- Lifetime unlock: $24.99, one-time payment, permanent access to all Pro features
Actual prices shown in your local App Store will reflect regional currencies and tax. The developer reserves the right to adjust prices; existing subscriptions are unaffected within their current billing period.
6.2 Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions auto-renew 24 hours before expiration unless canceled at least 24 hours prior
- Renewal charges are deducted from your Apple ID-linked payment method
- You may cancel any time at Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → HabitDesign
- After cancellation, Pro features remain active until the current billing period ends
6.3 Free Trial
- The 1-week free trial is offered only on the first annual subscription per Apple ID
- You may cancel during the trial without charge
- If not canceled before trial ends, the subscription auto-converts to the paid annual plan
- Apple IDs that have previously used the trial cannot use it again
6.4 Refunds
- Refund requests are handled by Apple — submit at reportaproblem.apple.com
- The developer cannot issue refunds directly
- Pro features will be revoked immediately upon refund
6.5 Family Sharing
All 3 Pro plans support Apple's Family Sharing. The family organizer's purchase enables Pro access for up to 5 family members. Family Sharing is managed by Apple.
6.6 Data Protection After Cancellation
After cancellation or refund, data created during the Pro period (multi-target counts, focus timer settings, custom colors, etc.) will not be deleted. Continuing functionality:
- Existing multi-target / focus-timer items continue to work as configured
- Cannot create a 6th or further habit
- Cannot enable new multi-target / focus timers / custom colors
- Full statistics / PDF export / pack import require re-subscribing
7. Disclaimer
- Data loss: While we do our best to ensure data integrity, we cannot guarantee against data loss caused by iOS system errors, iCloud outages, hardware damage, etc.
- Habit advice: The Habit Lab packs are for reference only and do not constitute medical, psychological, or other professional advice
- Service availability: The App is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the App
- Damages from data loss or service interruption
- Any amount exceeding fees you've paid for the App (if any)
9. Service Changes & Termination
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time
- Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or release notes
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app notice and the "Effective Date" above will be updated.
Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Disputes should be resolved through friendly negotiation first.
